Quick update
We have been very busy this month. Gary has taken the month off after residency and we have had so much fun. It has been nice having him home. We went up to Yakima to look for a home and after a very long weekend we found 2 homes that we liked. We put in offers on both and we didn't accept any of the counter offers so we then found an apartment to rent for 6 months. The night before we were to confirm our realtor called and said the one house had come back with a lower offer - so we countered their offer and we are now homeowners! I will post pictures once I take some. There is a little bit of remodeling to do, but overall it will be nice to own a home. Sarah is getting so big and she is sleeping through the night!!! Isaac is so cute with her and if she starts crying he goes over to her and says, "It's okay pretty girl." He has had fun playing baseball this summer and refuses to hit the ball from the T-ball stand - you have to pitch it to him. We have a little athlete on our hands. We are going to miss all our friends so much and since we have a home with extra bedrooms we would love to have visitors!!!

Congratulations Gary!
Tuesday was Gary's last day of residency. He is now officially done. I am so proud of him and all his hard work. It has been a long 7 years, but I am so glad we have been able to do this together. The residency had a very nice dinner at a wonderful restaurant and I want to thank Grandma and Grandpa Oaks and Stephanie for watching the kids so we could enjoy it. So we are getting ready for our next adventure and are moving to Yakima, Washington. Gary has a great opportunity up there so we are looking forward to that. Here are some pictures from the dinner.
The 3 graduating residents and their director:Deep, Eric, Gary and Dr. Young

All the residents.
I couldn't put a post without a picture of my cute kids. Isaac was holding her head while watching his show.

One month old already
So we have been adjusting to two children at home and overall everything has been going well. Our sweet little one is getting big fast. At her 3 week check up she weighed in at 8 lbs and 11 oz (that's gaining 2 lbs in 3 weeks). She likes to eat every 3 hours. She is still the same length at 20.5 inches.

Isaac has been a pretty good big brother with only a couple minor incidents. We are working on being SOFT.

We have enjoyed our Red Butte Garden membership so here are several pictures from our latest adventures. Sadly our pass expired in May and we will really miss it.
Isaac has been playing soccer on Fridays and he really enjoys it. Gary took his boards and lets just say we are glad that is over. Our next adventure is packing and moving in July. Enjoy the pictures.

What they are thinking?
So the other night Isaac came in and I said, "You are so stinking cute!"
Isaac's reply, "I don't stink."
Isaac's reply, "I don't stink."

Pictures
So I had a wonderful photographer come and take some pictures of Sarah and Isaac. They turned out great. If you want to see them click on www.joannataylorphotography.com. You have to enter her site. Then move your mouse over the left side of the screen and click on client proof. The username is Leslie and the password is Sarah. It is case sensitive so you have to use a capital L and S. Let me know which ones are your favorite.

Our New Addition

Sarah Jean made her appearance on Monday May 11th at 3:17pm. I woke up Monday morning at around 4:30 and was having contractions. They were about 10 minutes apart so I didn't bother Gary. He was up around 6 to get ready for work and I let him know what was going on. We decided to wait and see if they got closer before going into the hospital. So he went to work and I played baseball with Isaac. By 9 I paged Gary and told him I was ready to go in. He left work as soon as he could and picked us up around 10:30. We dropped Isaac off at my sister-in-law's house and headed for the hospital. We were checked in around 11:30 and I was already dilated to a 4. By noon my contractions were 2 minutes apart and I was ready for the epidural. Everything went very quickly after that and she only needed 4 pushes to make her entrance into this world. She is perfectly healthy and she has lots of blond hair. I want to thank Kelly, Kathy, Rick, Erin, Natalie and my mom for helping us out with Isaac. It was so nice to be able to enjoy Sarah at the hospital and not have to worry about Isaac. Enjoy her pictures!
