Our little ANGEL!

This past September, Gary and I decided we wanted to have one more little munchkin to complete our beautiful family and the first part of October we found out that was going to happen.  We were really excited and to be honest a little scared since things happened so quickly.  I was really happy to have my first doctor's appointment to confirm that the baby was doing well.  I managed to make it through the 10 weeks of nausea and was excited for my December appointment (16 weeks along) to possibly find out if it was a boy or a girl.  The doctor did an ultrasound and the baby was doing great, good heartbeat and the big reveal - A BOY!  We were really excited, but after what happened with Katie's ultrasound I still had my doubts.  Well mid-January I started to get a little nervous because I hadn't felt the baby move yet.  So when I went in for my 20 week ultrasound  on January 22nd I was given a mother's worse nightmare news - there was no heartbeat!  Deep down I knew something was wrong but just didn't want to believe it.  So I was given all the information about what was going to happen and had to head home to then tell everyone our devastating news.  On Friday the 23rd, I was admitted to Ogden Regional.  After a long night the baby was delivered at 1:55am.  It was very bittersweet to hold that precious baby but to realize that he was already gone.  He was very little and stopped growing at about 17 weeks along.  We were told afterwards that his cord had a knot in it and was very tangled.  I am so thankful to all of our family and friends that have been there to help and support Gary and I as we are going through this.  Definitely not how I imagined this pregnancy was going to turn out.  So here is a little picture of our precious baby boy!
