So the other night Isaac came in and I said, "You are so stinking cute!"
Isaac's reply, "I don't stink."

Pictures
So I had a wonderful photographer come and take some pictures of Sarah and Isaac. They turned out great. If you want to see them click on www.joannataylorphotography.com. You have to enter her site. Then move your mouse over the left side of the screen and click on client proof. The username is Leslie and the password is Sarah. It is case sensitive so you have to use a capital L and S. Let me know which ones are your favorite.

Our New Addition

Sarah Jean made her appearance on Monday May 11th at 3:17pm. I woke up Monday morning at around 4:30 and was having contractions. They were about 10 minutes apart so I didn't bother Gary. He was up around 6 to get ready for work and I let him know what was going on. We decided to wait and see if they got closer before going into the hospital. So he went to work and I played baseball with Isaac. By 9 I paged Gary and told him I was ready to go in. He left work as soon as he could and picked us up around 10:30. We dropped Isaac off at my sister-in-law's house and headed for the hospital. We were checked in around 11:30 and I was already dilated to a 4. By noon my contractions were 2 minutes apart and I was ready for the epidural. Everything went very quickly after that and she only needed 4 pushes to make her entrance into this world. She is perfectly healthy and she has lots of blond hair. I want to thank Kelly, Kathy, Rick, Erin, Natalie and my mom for helping us out with Isaac. It was so nice to be able to enjoy Sarah at the hospital and not have to worry about Isaac. Enjoy her pictures!

Easter Time
We had a really nice Easter and the weather was perfect. We had several fun activities that we were able to enjoy this past week. Our playgroup did an Easter egg hunt at a park nearby and we all braved the wind and sprinkles. Isaac had a blast and he hit his quota of eggs within a few minutes.

Then we decided to dye eggs with him. He had so much fun with the colors. Gary, on the other hand, wasn't quite sure he wanted to partcipate in the adventure. But he had a good time too!
On Easter Sunday you will have to ignore the color of the pictures, my camera's batteries were dying and a 2 year old doesn't wait for you to change them. So I didn't have a flash. The Easter bunny brought Isaac some new golf clubs and a bouncing ball along with a basket of goodies. He was so funny, because he didn't even care about the candy - he just wanted to play golf! It was a nice day and we all got to enjoy a late afternoon nap.

Happy Birthday Gary!
We celebrated Gary's birthday last week and I think he had a good day. Isaac was more excited about the cake and candles though. Isaac and I made him a birthday sign and we bought Gary some new golf clubs. Gary went out on Saturday to try them out and he is really glad that I purchased them. Here are a couple of pictures. I love you, Gary!

Decisions, Decisions
So we are trying to figure out what the middle name should be for our little girl. It is kind of bugging me that I don't have her name yet. Now I know I could never go the whole pregnancy waiting to find out if it was a girl or a boy. So we have 3 options (as of right now). The first one is Jean - which is my middle name. Isaac has Gary's middle name so that would be a tradition. Jean is also my mom's middle name. Love is the other family name - my maiden name, which I think would be really cute for a little girl. Finally, the third option is Bronwyn. This is a dear friend of ours from Iowa and I love how unique her name is. So there you have. Which do you think would fit the best - Sarah (Jean, Love, Brownyn) Oaks?
