Let's Eat

So I made pasta for dinner last night and Isaac is becoming very independent and wants to feed himself. He was such a mess with sauce even on his eyelid, but he did pretty good. I couldn't resist posting these pictures.

January 2008

The weather has been very snowy the last couple of days so I decided to be brave and let Isaac enjoy the snow. After getting him all bundled up and going outside he lasted for about 10 minutes. He couldn't walk in the boots he was wearing so he just sat in the snow. He also took his gloves off and wanted to see what the snow felt like. Needless to say it took longer to get ready to go outside than we ended up staying outside.

The end of 2007

This has been a wonderful year. The best thing is Gary is halfway through with his residency. I have been staying at home with Isaac and I love it. He is such a fun loving happy little boy. He always has a smile on his face. He enjoys playing with other kids and he gets a big smile on his face when his cousin Clara comes to play. I usually work one day a week and it is a nice break to get out of the house.
We had some fun vacations this year. We went to San Diego in March, Zion's National Park in May, Cleveland and Pittsburgh in July, Mexico in September and Disneyland in October. We have been blessed to enjoy some wonderful times as a family.
Isaac turned one in August and he decided to start walking 4 days before his birthday. He has been on the run ever since. His new thing is climbing - on EVERYTHING! Today he tried to climb up a stand with all of our pictures on it - lets just say I had to throw one frame away and pick up the stand off of him.
We are very excited to begin a new year and hope this upcoming year is as wonderful as the last.
