So they had a free event downtown to advertise Cars 2 so we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and headed outside. They had a ton of free stuff and off course the boys, Isaac and his cousin Miles, loved the bouce obstacle course.

Sarah and Daddy - I love this picture!
Here is a picture of me after cutting off 10.5" of hair. I love my hair being short again!!!
Cabin Time
Fall time is my favorite season and I have really missed coming up to the mountains and spending time at the cabin. We decided to head up one day and I am so glad we did. The colors on the leaves were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed a nice walk up the road and enjoyed all the colors.
I wish I had a better camera. This was such a great photo spot and the kids were actually co-operating. They thought it was fun playing on this old trailer.
There were a couple times where Sarah was done walking so I would hang out with her while the guys kept on exploring. She wanted to sit on this rock and so I snapped a couple cute pictures of her (not co-operating at this point).
The guys coming back down from their extended hike.
This is the view from the cabin deck - so pretty!
So there is a funny story about staining this deck. When Gary and I were dating he asked me if I would come up and help him restain the deck and of course I said yes. So after I was done staining the upper deck I went down to help him. He was on a ladder and needed me to get more stain on his roller. Well since I had not had a ton of experience handing off a fully coated paint roller, I turned it to the side and I got stain all over him. It ruined his favorite hat and T-shirt and we got a good laugh out of it. Good thing we were just dating and still thought the clumsy things I do were funny!
City Creek Canyon
We love going up City Creek Canyon and the weather was really beautiful the day we went. The kids enjoyed walking next to the creek and this time we went we saw several cool bugs. The craziest one was a huge tarranchula. Gary spotted it and scared the crap out of me when he held me back saying STOP. Once I realized what he was talking about we then enjoyed watching it walk down the road.
There is a little old bridge that Isaac insisted on crossing and when Isaac does something Sarah is right behind him doing the same thing.

Isaac's Birthday/Parties
HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY ISAAC!!!
I can't believe it has already been 5 years since we had you. Time really has gone by so quickly. You have brought so much joy and happiness into our lives. I LOVE your smile and cute laugh. You have such a sweet heart and always know how to cheer people up. You come up with some of the craziest things and I wish I could remember all of them. Right now some of your favorite things are Star Wars Legos, Star Wars anything, playing the Wii (when you earn enough stickers), playing outside and you are learning how to write your ABC's and your numbers. Mom and Dad are so proud of you and you are such a great brother to Sarah.

Growing up we always got the number of balloons you turned. So here are his 5 balloons.

Star Wars Legos - I love the true smile when opening a present.

We decided to take him out to dinner at Red Robin. It was so funny watching him while they were singing to him. He didn't know whether to laugh, smile or be imbarrassed. He enjoyed the whip cream off the sundae and Sarah enjoyed the rest!

He asked for a batman cake and this is what I was able to create.

Opening his presents - clothes, lots of books, and the game Connect 4.

So we left for SLC the day after his birthday so I decided to just have a little party and Wheeler Farm. It was going to just be my brother and his family and my cousin and her 2 kids. Eventually it turned into a big party with my family along with all of Gary's family. I love it when we all get together. It had been so long since we were able to celebrate someone's birthday together. To keep with the theme, I had ordered a batman cake topper.

Catch up
So I am about a month behind and the one time I have lots of pictures to upload I don't have access to my camera cord. We celebrated Isaac's 5th birthday in Yakima and again in SLC with family. We then enjoyed a fun labor day weekend in SLC. Next we celebrated my 32nd birthday in SLC. I was able to watch the Utes beat BYU which was a fun game. Even though I passed up the tickets to the game it was still nice to watch the game on TV without traffic and crowds. Then we had a fun weekend with Gary's family and enjoyed seeing everyone. This last month has been very crazy for us and I have enjoyed this time in SLC. Although I am ready to go back home and have access to my stuff and my clothes and have Sarah in a CRIB! She is so sweet but climbs out of the pack and play and loves to climb in bed with me. And we all know how much sleep we get when a toddler is sleeping in your bed. We are so excited to find out the sex of baby #3 and I am very tempted to go to fetal foto instead of waiting till we get back to Yakima - we will see what I decide. As soon as we have made up our mind and know our fate we will pass the good news along. I will also post pictures as soon as I can.
