Back in July we had some friends invite us to go boating with their family. Oh course we jumped at the opportunity and said Yes! Their family has a share in a private lake about 40 min. away. It was wonderful because there were only 2 boats on the lake and we took turns going out and having fun. Isaac absolutely loved the water and jumped right in. He enjoyed throwing rocks in the lake and eventually was brave enough to go out and swim with the fishes! They were surround the docks (which I will get back to later). He had so much fun playing with all the kids.
Gary jumped at the chance to get out on the wakeboard. He got up the very first try and had fun going around the lake several times.
Even Sarah got brave enough, after sitting on the dock for quite some time, to jump in and swim. It took her awhile to get used to the life jacket but once she realized she was safe in it she had fun playing. So while Gary was swimming with the kids he found out how frisky the fish are. Yes they like to bite nipples! We later found out the next time our friends went down their little brother got bit and it even drew blood. It was still nice and refreshing to jump in the water!
I enjoyed sitting in the boat with Sarah and Isaac. It was so fun to watch their expressions.
They had this great tube they blow up so the kids can take a fun ride. They loved playing in it too while we held the rope on the dock. This is Isaac, Sarah, Anna and I think Ryan, Anna's uncle.
When it was our turn we were able to fit, Gary, myself, Isaac, Sarah and Anna in the tube. Sadly Sarah is behind Anna so you can't see her in the pictures but they all loved the ride.

We were able to talk Isaac into going out on the knee board. The first time they had him start on his knees and crashed immediately after Gary let go, so we then had him try it on his stomach. He did great. I couldn't tell if he was enjoying himself by the scared look on his face but once he was all done the smile on his face went from ear to ear. He talked about it the rest of the night and the next day too! He was so pround of himself.
