So after having a bad streak between family and friends, it makes me realize how grateful I am to have my family! One of my friends here in Washington lost her almost 2 year old unexpectedly and it just makes me sick to think of losing one of my kids. Life is so precious and I have taken some extra time just to sit down and play with Isaac and Sarah and do things that they want to do. We have been able to go outside, still bundled up, but at least we have sunshine.
Sarah LOVES licking rocks and eating dirt for some reason. I remember Isaac doing the same thing. And Isaac enjoys riding his bike and wearing his new helmet. He even took it to school for show and tell. Sarah's hair is finally getting long enough for me to do some things with it, so here are a couple pictures of her with pigtails!
We had a nice Valentine's day and enjoyed a quiet evening at home. I bought the kids a new outfit and Isaac has worn his 3 days in a row and I finally made him put it in the dirty clothes. My aunt Lois sent both of them a teddy bear. Gary and I don't go out on Valentines Day, we wait a week or two and then enjoy a nice night out. So on Friday we had a babysitter watch the kids so we could go out to dinner. That time away is nice and makes you appreciate your kids when you come home to them.
Sarah is also a climber and we have our bikes in the basement and the other day I came downstairs to her sitting in the babyseat. I asked Gary if he put her there and he replied, No she climbed in there all by herself!
We haven't been on any trips and I am really missing my winter break to Phoenix this year. We are headed there in May so that will be fun. I am looking forward to spring and can't wait to be able to go to the playgrounds again.

Love the pigtails! I tried to do pigtails a couple weeks ago, but they were not nearly as cute as Sarah's. Can't wait to see you all. My heart breaks for your friend who lost her baby. It definitely makes you stop and appreciate what you have more.
Yay! I made it! It feels kinda weird to be back in the blogging world again. Sarah is so big! I just love her pretty blonde hair! You can tell her I've been doing yard work and love the smell of the wet mud. I've been getting urges to taste it, too. ;) I must have some sort of vitamin deficiency?
