We are down to just a couple of boxes left to unpack and getting aquainted with the city. They finally brought our washer and dryer yesterday after having to send back the scratch and dent ones they tried to bring last week. Hopefully by tonight we can do a load of laundry. Gary is still having some problems getting on insurance so he is a little stressed out about that. We have decided to wait and buy a 2nd car when they get the 2010 shipment in later this month. I have found a nice playgroup and we went to the children's museum today. Isaac really enjoyed playing with other kids and I met a lot of nice moms. I had a sad weekend, but am doing much better now. If we had another car I might have driven back home! There is a really nice walking path that goes along the river so here are some pictures from our adventures.

Gary finally got a new lawnmower and Isaac just had to help him. Here is the backyard, ignore the dead grass.

miss you leslie, what a great big yard and beautiful place.
That is a wonderful huge tree in your yard! The yard looks huge too. It looks beautiful there. You'll soon love it I'm sure!!!
I love the walking paths, that's beautiful. Sorry you had a sad weekend, I know how those can be, I struggled with them during school. As our family has grown I've been less dependent on extended family and have become stronger being away from them. Feel free to call me any time if you need to vent or even cry...I'm a good listener and can totally relate to those hard feelings.
Isaac looks like he loves his new bike. Can you keep up with him? I am jealous of your backyard. It looks like a great yard. Miss you!
Sorry you had a tough weekend - I hope you have them less & less often as you make good friends there. We missed you at soccer today! Although it was way too hot. I love the huge tree in your backyard! Good luck with all the adjustments & be sure to stop by when you're back in town! Call anytime!
Sounds like you're settling in... not the easiest thing to do. I'm glad you found a play group, that will help a lot. Sorry it was rough over the weekend. New places can be so difficult and exciting and wonderful and scary all at the same time. Hang in there.
